Fish fry / Sardine fish fry

Hi all today I am showing you a tasty and special fish (sardine/ mathi/ chaala) fry. You can also use any type of fish for this recipe. This is the very simple method, add all the ingredients in a blender and make a fine paste. Marinate our fish with the masala and shallow fry the fish. You can always adjust the spices by making masala paste.

Sardines are rich in numerous nutrients that have been found to support cardiovascular health. They are one of the most concentrated sources of that omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, which have been found to lower triglycerides and cholesterol levels. Sardines are an excellent source of vitamin B12



  1. Fish 250gm
  2. Coriander leaves 1 hand full
  3. Curry leaves 2 spring
  4. Ginger small size
  5. Garlic 5 no.s
  6. Red chili powder ¾  table spoon
  7. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Pepper seeds 15 no.s
  9. Water 1 table spoon
  10. vinegar 1 table spoon
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil for frying


Add 2 to 10 ingredients in a blender and make a fine paste.

Then remove n to a plate, add salt to taste. Mix very well.

Marinate fish with the masala paste and keep it in the refrigerator for about ½ n hours.

Heat oil in a frying pan adds 1 spring curry leaves in it.

Then fry marinated fish on both sides.

The tasty fish fry is ready to serve with rice. Enjoy cooking.
