Hi, all today I am sharing with you a healthy vegetarian recipe CABBAGE KOFTA. It’s a good side dish for chappathi. Cabbage kofta is a south Indian style dish; I have this recipe from media. For this I am using the cabbage from my garden. So this is also special dish for me.

Ingredients
For making kofta
- Cabbage finely chopped 1 ¼ cup
- Coriander chopped 2 table spoon
- Ginger chopped 1 teaspoon
- Green chili 1 chopped
- Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
- Gram flour ¼ cup
- Water 1 table spoon
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
For making gravy
- Tomato 2 medium size
- Ginger 1 piece
- Green chili 1
- Oil 1 table spoon
- Fenugreek seeds ½ teaspoon
- Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
- Gram flour 1 table spoon
- Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
- Red chili powder 1 /2 table spoon
- Coriander powder ¼ table spoon
- Curd 1 table spoon
- Ginger garlic paste 1/3 table spoon
- Water ½ cup
- Salt to taste
- Coriander 1 table spoon chopped
Making of kofta
In a bowl take finely chopped cabbage, coriander leaves green chili and ginger.
Along with this add salt, cumin seeds, gram flour and water.
Mix it well and make small dumplings. You can also check salt.
Once all are completed heat oil in a pan and deep fry our dumplings till its golden brown in color.
Preparation of gray
In a blender add tomato green chili and ginger and make a fine paste and drain it. Keep it aside.
Heat oil in a kadai and fry fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds, allow it to splutter.
Then add gram flour, fry it.
Add tomato paste, cook 1 minute. Then add masala and saute for 1 minute until the oil leaves from it.
Add 1 table spoon curd and ginger garlic paste again saute well.
Then add water and salt to taste. Allow it to boil.
Once it starts boiling add koftas in it.
Also add chopped coriander, check salt. Again cook for about 2 minutes in low flame.
The tasty and healthy cabbage kofta is ready to serve. Enjoy cooking with yummy recipes.
