Tandoori fish is the tasty fish recipe. This is also used as a snacks recipe, made with a marination of Indian spices and yogurt. I mix all the ingredients and marinate fish with it, then rest for few hours and shallow fry. Basically tandoori fish cooked oven.
For making tadoori fish you can use tandoori masala. You can get it from the store; it gives a special taste to our fish. For making tandoori fish i’m using king fish / neimeen / ayakkoora.
- Fish slice 5 no.s
- Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
- Red chili powder 1 table spoon
- Coriander powder ½ table spoon
- Yogurt 1 table spoon
- Vinegar / lemon juice ½ table spoon
- Salt to taste
- Butter 2 table spoon
Method of preparation
In a plate add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, vinegar, yogurt and salt. Mix all the ingredients and make a thick paste.
Gently apply the paste on the top of the fish, marinate for about 2 hour. It helps to coat the masalas very well with fish.
Heat butter in a frying pan and shallow fry the marinated fish on both sides.
Serve hot with chutney. Enjoy cooking with yummy recipes.
