Ingredients

  1. Jackfruit 18 numbers
  2. Egg
  3. Grated coconut ¾ cup
  4. Garlic 3 numbers
  5. Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
  6. Green chili 1
  7. Onion chopped 1 tablespoon
  8. Water 1 ¼ cup
  9. Oil 2 table spoon
  10. Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  11. Curry leaves 1 spring
  12. Dry red chili 1

Method of making Jack fruit egg thoran / chakkakkuru mutta thoran

Peel and clean jackfruit seeds, cook for adding 1 ¼ cup water and salt. Keep it aside to cool.

Add grated coconut, garlic, green chili and turmeric powder in a blender and grind it for a second. Remove it in to a plate.

Once the jack fruit seeds turns cool, put it in a blender and crush it well, keep it aside.

In a bowl crack for eggs, add very little salt and onions chopped and mix it very well.

Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, once it stars splutters add curry leaves and dry red chili in it.

Add crushed coconut and fry for 3 minutes. Keep it in to the side o the pan.

Add 1 tablespoon oil in to the pan and add beaten egg and stir well till the eggs scrambled finely.

Then combine the scrambled eggs with fried coconut.

Now add crushed jack fruit in it and combine all very well for 2 to 3 minutes in low flame.
