Caramel Bread Pudding / Steamed Bread Pudding
Caramel Bread Pudding / Steamed Bread Pudding is the delicious, yummy dessert and it’s very simple to make. We can make bread pudding in different methods. This is the steamed bread pudding recipe. I and my kid love this very much this pudding with caramel flavor.

Ingredients
- Bread slices 5 numbers
- Milk 1 ½ cup (1 cup= 250ml)
- Eggs 2
- Sugar ½ cup
- Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
For caramelizing the sugar
- Sugar 5 table spoon
- Water 3 tablespoon
For greasing the pan
Butter or oil
Method for making Caramelized Bread Pudding / Steamed Bread Pudding
Remove the sides of the bread. It’s optional.
Crush it using your and then put it a blender and blend it well.
Remove it in to a bowl and keep it aside.
In another bowl add sugar, pour 1 ½ cup milk and vanilla essence. Mix well, till the sugar dissolved completely.
Then add 2 eggs and mix it well.
The pour in to the bread crumbs and combine well, rest for 10 minutes.
Grease a tin with butter or oil and keep it aside.
In a pan add remaining sugar and water and caramelize the sugar till it reaches perfect color and remove from the stove.
Pour caramelized sugar in to the greased tin and wait for 2 minutes.
Then pour the bread egg batter in to the tin. And cover it with an aluminum foil.
Put some holes in the foil and cook it in a steamer for 25 to 30 minutes in high to medium flame.
Remove it from the steamer and remove the foil.
Wait to cool the pudding and carefully remold it from the tin.
