Putt egg uppma is a Kerala breakfast recipe. We can make these putt upma in different ways, like veg upma and non veg upma. This it’s the non veg type upma. If you have some left over putt or a fresh putt then you can make this very simple. Putt upma is very delicious and simple to make.

How To Make Puttu Upma

- Chiratta putt 1
- Onion chopped 2 table spoon
- Carrot chopped 1 table spoon
- Egg 1
- Curry leaves
- Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
- Oil 1 table spoon
- Salt to taste
Put 1 chiratta putt in a bowl and make it a powder. Finely chop onion and carrot and keep it aside.
Beat 1 egg in a bowl by adding very little salt. The putt has enough salt, so don’t add much more salt.
Heat oil in a pan adds mustard seeds and allows it to splutter. Add curry leaves in it and saute it.
Add chopped carrot, onion and I pinch salt, sauté 2 to 3 minutes in low flame.
Pour the beaten egg and cook once the egg almost cooked.
Then add powdered putt in it and combine well.
The tasty and simple putt upma is ready to serve.
