Kethals chicken / spicy chicken fry recipe

 

I have this Kethals chicken from a hotel at Kannur. This chicken is famous in Rhmaniya hotel. It’s a spicy chicken fry, for making this we use small types of chicken that have 80 to 60 weights only. Serve this delicious spicy chicken curry with chappati roti etc.

chicken is on of the highest protein suppliers normally found in peoples diet. its also contains a very good source of minerals and vitamins.

Ingredients for making Kethals chicken

  1. Chicken 250 gm
  2. Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
  3. Red chili powder 1 table spoon
  4. Coriander powder ¾ table spoon
  5. Pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Ginger garlic paste 1 table spoon
  7. Onion paste 1 ½ table spoon
  8. Crushed dry red chili 1 ½ table spoon
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil for frying

Method

In a bowl add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and ginger garlic paste.

Add onion paste (in a blender add sliced ½ medium size onion and make a paste), salt to taste and crushed dry red chili in it. Mix masalas very well.

Now add chicken pieces in it and combine well, rest for about 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a frying pan and add marinated chicken pieces, shallow fry on both sides.

Once the chicken pieces cooked well, remove it from the oil.

Sprinkle some crushed dry red chili in to the chicken pieces, the tasty n spicy kethals chicken is ready to serve.
