Are you looking for red beans recipe? This recipe is very tasty so there is no doubt that your family will enjoy eating red beans. I have been eating red beans since I was a kid because my mom always cooked this dish. It is one of my dad’s favorite soup dishes. Unfortunately, I can’t cook red beans with pork hocks all the time because it takes a lot of time to prepare.
But when cravings for red beans hit me bad, I prepare the beans right away by soaking them in water overnight. I was told soaking the red beans in water helps soften the beans. Whether this is true or not, I just do it because it really takes time to softened red beans in a regular pot. But if you have a pressure cooker then prep time is greatly reduced to 30 minutes.
Here’s my red beans with pork hocks recipe, enjoy cooking!
